Jessica has been teaching music and yoga for over a decade. She studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and received a Bachelors in Flute performance with a minor in vocal performance. After graduating, yoga had always been such a positive influence on her endurance and ability to practice and perform for many hours, alongside practicing mindfulness and exhibiting calmness during performances. With that inspiration, Jess became a Certified E-RYT 200 yoga instructor in 2012. She continued to perform while beginning her teaching career in music and yoga. She later received a Masters in Music Education from the University of Bridgeport.
Jessica's teaching career has inspired her to work with children, teens, and adults in NYC Metro, CT, and New Orleans. Her experience as a Music Director, 6th grade teacher, and curriculum developer for students with dyslexia and ADHD in Southport, CT, and experience as a trauma-informed yoga instructor have helped inspire a program in Oxford, CT that speaks to all learning styles, abilities, and interests. When she’s not dreaming up a class or lesson, Jess is a mother, hiker, and gardening enthusiast.
